Floral is the new black!
According to Doneger Creative Services, in Spring 2016, we can expect playful, innocent colors to dominate this aristocratic, couture-worthy aesthetic. This welcomes a naive and gentle approach to chit-chatting and nibbling on tasty treats.
Based on a report from Vogue.com, "the spring runways were filled with vibrant floral prints...oversize and in fresh colors, Celine, Marni, and Victoria Beckham are just a few of the designers who touched their collections with green thumbs."

We many not all be able to afford a Valentino trench, but that should not discourage us from keeping up with trends we love! Personally the fun for me is in the search. The satisfaction that comes with finding the item I imagine is unlike any other! If this trend interests you here is one floral item I have come across.

Melissa- right when I opened your post I immediately thought of Chanel's newest show! I am so glad you posted about it. Floral seems to be a reoccurring trend we have seen in previous seasons. I think it is an important trend to not and I am so glad you did! Being a huge Chanel fan I have been keeping tabs on reports/articles and videos about the show Style.com had a really nice and informative article on their site! Karl Lagerfeld being the oddity that he is claimed "One morning in bed, I saw it in a second." when asked about the garden party them!

Spring next year is going to be such a fun season with all these playful colors that are being trend forecasted. Floral prints can be chic and dressy when worn correctly. I was just doing an assignment for my product development class in a retail store and I noticed some merchandise with floral patterns already so I know the trend is approaching.

Florals have always been a favorite of mine! Whether they be brights, darks, pastels... whatever! I love them all! I feel as though they have been quite popular as of recent, and I'm super happy to see that they're continuing to go strong! I think a floral printed piece is the best way to add some interesting detail to a simple outfit!
